I am so incredibly happy we get to spend your birthday together. Rehearsals and all included because you're doing what you love and preparing to be on that stage where you really shine. Plus, as you know, I love being there and watching you. The thing is, there is something about you. Always has been, always will be. Sometimes it feels like magnetism is what brings us together and I don't mean that it pulls us with no reason. We always make our way back to each other because that is the way it is supposed to be. It's natural, it's what feels right, it's coursing through our veins. You are my person, my favorite person, and best friend. You have been there for me in times of success and times of failure. No matter what you've continued to be loyal and filled with love and full of passion. That's what I see when I look at you. You are there for your friends, your family - both biological and adopted really, and those in between. You have the absolute biggest heart of anyone I know and the way you move through life with your heart shining through, no matter what it's been through, that is inspiring. That is one of the many reasons I love you.

Throughout your life, throughout your career, you have shown an impressive amount of strength and resilience. It might seem like I say that a lot in regards to you but it can't be said enough. You are a fighter and will always be someone I want in my corner. I know you have my back and I have yours. Things have not always been easy, for you and for us, but you've been the happiest I have seen you in years and that means everything to me. It also says a lot because you've always been a very excitable person. My birthday promise to you is to make sure that keeps on going.
